1.      The original deposit slip of Rs. 2000 as Tender Fee must be attached with Tender Documents, deposited in the University of Malakand General Account no “1990-3066927027” at NBP University Campus Branch.

2.      The Vendor will have a valid NTN & STN Number, if/as applicable.

3.      The Bid Security, not less than 2% of the quoted price, in the form of “CDR” in favor of the Director Finance, University of Malakand is required to be submitted with the Bid, without which the offer shall be rejected being non-responsive. In case of non-compliance of bid, the bid security shall be confiscated.

4.      Item found broken or not according to the specification will be returned at the cost of the supplier.

5.      10% of the contract amount will be retained, for at least three months, as a performance guarantee, the release of which shall be subject to the satisfactory performance report.

  1. Supply and Installation of the item(s) will be completed within (30) days from the date of issuance of the purchase order. In case of delay, a 1% penalty per day, up to a maximum of 10% of the total cost, will be charged from the firm.

7.      All applicable taxes will be deducted as per government rules.

8.      Extension shall be granted in case of extremely unavoidable circumstances and valid justification by the vendor.

9.      The acceptance of the item will be subject to the inspection and approval of the end user.

10.   Bids without supporting documents, undertakings, or valid documentary evidence, and those not conforming to the terms and conditions given in these documents will be liable for rejection.

11.   No supporting document will be accepted, at all, after the opening of the Bid.

12.   The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of item(s) or even cancel the tender on the basis of a valid reason.

13.   In case a vendor claims a tax exemption based on his/her’s business location at Malakand Division, he/she will have to provide a tax exemption certificate from the relevant authorities.

14.   All charges such as carriage, installation, transportation, etc. will be paid by the supplier.

15.   In case of any dispute, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor, on the recommendation of the Purchase Committee, shall be final.
