University Transport

Transport Section of the university has 32 vehicles in its pool comprising of air-conditioned vans, buses/coaches, ambulances and tractors. The university provides pick-and-drop services to students and staff during the academic session besides being used for study tours and picnics. The pick-and-drop services approach different areas such as Batkhela, Pul Chowki, Thana, Chakdara, Talash, Barikot, Timergara and Mingora etc. The ambulance service and duty vehicles attend to day and night emergencies. In emergency, students and staff members are transported to Batkhela, Swat and Peshawar. In this context, one driver remains on duty for 24 hours and 07 days a week to provide emergency services. The transport record is thoroughly computerized and functions through a well-designed software through which the transport-related record is maintained. In near future, the directorate of Transport is going to launch the 'Card-System' for all passengers (students and staff), which will help both the university and passengers to take benefit from the service easily and comfortably.
