The University of Malakand offers the following vacant position for career-oriented Pakistani Nationals (Faculty Members) on Tenure Track System /Regular basis:

Professor: (TTS) Economics English Zoology Biotechnology Sociology Sciences Botany	One each	Ph.D/ relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field with either 11 years post-Ph.D/ relevant terminal degree or minimum of 7 years of post-Ph.D experience with at least 12 years of teaching/ research experience prior to the Ph.D in a recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization with 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in internationally abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the HEC.
2.	Associate Professor: (BPS-20) Physics English	One each	Ph.D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 10 years teaching / research experience at least 4 years Post-Ph.D level experience in an HEC recognized University or Post Graduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization with 10 publications (with at least 4 publications in the last five years in the HEC recognized Journals.
3.	Assistant Professor: (BPS-19/ TTS) Pak Studies Zoology Journalism & Mass communication Pashto Tourism & Hotel Management Archeology Physics Psychology	One each	Ph.D in the relevant field from H.E.C recognized University/ Institution. No experience and no Publication are required. OR Master’s degree (Foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an H.E.C recognized University / Institution with 04 years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization (only for BPS-19).
4.	Lecturer: (BPS-18) Journalism & Mass Communication Pashto Tourism & Hotel Management Archeology Statistics Social Works Psychology	Two each	First class Master’s degree OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/ Institution. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidate holds a higher degree viz M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd Division in entire academic career.
5.	Deputy Director Finance: (BPS-18)	One	a) First Class M.Com/MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant or higher qualification with 05 years post qualification experience in BPS-17 in the relevant field in a recognized University. OR b) Second Class M.Com/MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant with 07 years post qualification experience in BPS-17 in the relevant field in a recognized University.
6.	Hostel Warden (Female): (BPS-17)	One	First Class Master Degree/ LLB. OR Second Class Master’s Degree / LLB with 05 years experience of Hostel Management.
7.	Director Quality Enhancement Cell: (QEC) (BPS-20)	One	a) Ph.D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 10 years teaching / research experience in a HEC recognized University or Post Graduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization with 10 publications (with at least 4 publications in the last fine years in the HEC recognized Journals. OR b) First class Master Degree/LLB /higher qualification with 15 years post qualification relevant experience in BPS-17 or above in a recognized University.
8.	Deputy Director Quality Enhancement Cell: (BPS-18)	One	a) First class Master Degree/LLB /higher qualification with 05 years post qualification relevant experience in BPS-17 in a recognized University. OR b) Second class Master Degree/LLB with 07 years post qualification relevant experience in BPS-17 in a recognized University.
9.	Data Analyst Quality Enhancement Cell: (BPS-17)	One	a) First class Master Degree in Computer Science /IT /BS (4 years) in Software / Computer Engineering from a recognized University. OR b) Second class Master Degree in Computer Science /IT /BS (4 years) in Software / Computer Engineering from a recognized University with 02 years post qualification experience in the relevant field in national / International organization/ recognized University.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Application forms can be downloaded here. A bank draft (in original) of Rs. 500/- for the advertised positions in favour of Director Finance University of Malakand, must be attached with the form. (Money Orders will not be accepted)
Applications on prescribed form complete in all respects along with testimonials/experience certificates/ three recent passport size photographs and photocopy of CNIC shall reach the office of the undersigned on or before 21st September 2011. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be entertained. Original documents and relevant experience certificates etc shall have to be produced at the time of interview.
Evaluation of research publications/ papers fee Rs. 2500/- (for Professors & Associate Professor) are also required to be send to the undersigned. For positions of Professor & Associate Professor three sets of publication are also required to be submitted alongwith the application form.
Candidates serving in Government/Semi Government/Autonomous organizations/institutes must apply through proper channel otherwise their applications will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for test/interview. The University will not be responsible for non-receipt/delay of call letters for test/interview and the matter should be settled with the concerned service (post office or courier). The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel them. Errors/omissions (if any) will be rectified by the University as per rules.
Vacancies on Tenure Track Basis are subject to approval of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad and relevant authorities of the University.
