Sealed quotations are invited from reputed firms/Authorized dealers registered with Sale Tax & Income Tax Department for the purchase of permanent equipments Department of Inorganic Chemistry University of Malakand out of HEC Funded Project under NRPU.
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Dy. Director Finance University of Malakand from the publication of this Advertisement at the cost of non-refundable Fee of Rs.5000/- In shape of Bank Draft or Cash payment. The Quotations must accompany 2% as earnest money of the Total Quoted Value in the shape of CDR in fovour of Dy. Director Finance University of Malakand. Intending supplier must send their Tender/Quotation by post/Courier Services to reach this office up to 2:00 P.M on or before 23/09/10. Opening date, Time, Venue & other terms & conditions can be seen in the Tender documents. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders/Quotations without assigning any reason.

Terms & Conditions
- Each page of the BOQ should carry the signature and stamp of the vender. BOQ with over writing cutting and interpolation will be cancelled before the opening of bidding. Tender of convincing firm/ Vender will be considered cancelled. Equal rates of two firms will be finalized on draw.
- The firm must have the relevant experience certificate for which the form has been obtained.
- No vender has the right to hand over his work to any other firm without the prior approval of the competent authority. Failing which the tender will be considered cancelled.
- Income Tax and sales tax will be deducted as per approved rates of the Govt.
- No advance payment will be made before supply of the items.
- Cost of goods will be paid on the receipt of the pre receipted bills duly revenue stamped.
- The acceptance of articles will be subject to the inspection and approval of the purchase committee at the point of delivery.
- Items supplied with low quality will be rejected and no payment will be made to the supplier for the rejected items.
- Warranty/ Guarantee certificate of the items supplied must be attached with the final bill.
- Security at the rate of 10% of the total bill will be deducted for a period of six months and will be released subject to receiving good report from the concerned office.
- Payment will be made only after the Equipment(s) is fully installed and comes in working condition.
- The firm will give one year guarantee and will be responsible for the after sales service.
- The equipment shall be supplied in packed form and opened in front of the purchase committee.
- The approved firms subject to the satisfaction of approved committee will install the equipment. In case of any defect in the supplied equipment or if it is not in accordance with the desired specification, the item will be changed at the cost of supplier.
- The firm supplying the equipment(s) will demonstrate the operation/working of the equipment(s)to the satisfaction of the quarter concerned and provide training if needed.
- The firms will enter into a contract with the Department of Chemistry, university of Malakand, regarding repairs and maintenance of equipment(s) supplied and will be responsible for the agreement of spare parts, whenever needed.
- The firm will be responsible to supply the items within agreed/ stipulated time, failing which 1% of the total payment will be deducted per day. However on the basis of ground/ sound reasons, the competent authority may extend the period on the request of the supplier.
- The competent authority may increase or decrease the quantity of the items.
- The tender will be opened at 2:30 PM on 23/09/10 in the presence of the intending bidders or their representative.
